Not everyone is suited or meant for college and many trade schools are waste of time and money.  What is needed is a new vision of what constitutes an education.  People should be tested in mid-childhood, at puberty, again at high school graduation, and once more in their early 20’s to determine their true inclinations and there should be such places of learning where people can be taught to make the best use of their natural abilities. And such testing should be offered throughout our lives as we continue to evolve so that our lives remain productive and meaningful.  Our schools do nothing to develop the human being; the entire system rests on mimicry, rote behavior, and what best serves the machine of capitalism.
